Noel Fielding (born 21 May, 1973) is an English comedian, writer, actor, artist, musician, and television presenter. Noel Fielding was born in Westminster, London and grew up in Pollards Hill, London. Fielding first went to Croydon School of Art in South London, after which he studied Graphic Design and Advertising at Buckinghamshire Chilterns University College in High Wycombe where he graduated in 1995. Noel Fielding started doing stand-up in the 1990s and met his friend Julian Barratt while doing stand-up comedy. Together with Barratt, he got his first show on BBC Radio London called The Boosh in 2001. This was followed by a television show on BBC Three called The Mighty Boosh that ran from 2004 to 2007 and gained a cult following. After the success of his first show, Fielding continued his career as an actor with one of his roles being Richmond in the popular TV-show The IT Crowd, from 2006 to 2013. Fielding also had smaller roles in other shows like Nathan Barley, AD/BC: A Rock Opera, and Garth Marenghi's Darkplace. Besides his work as a stand-up comedian and actor, Fielding also is an artist. He held his first exhibition in 2008, which was called Psychedelic Dreams of the Jelly Fox and his second, called Bryan Ferry vs the Jelly Fox, in 2010. Both of his exhibitions were held in Maison Bertaux, a patisserie in Greek Street, Soho. These days, Noel Fielding is mostly known for his work as a television host and contestant in various shows. Since 2017, he was the co-host of The Great British Bake Off and he has also made appearances in shows like Taskmaster and QI.

Noel Fielding started doing stand-up in the 1990s after he graduated college. Noel Fielding performed at various comedy shows and released his first special called An Evening with Noel Fielding in 2015. His comedic style and genre have been described as surreal humor and black comedy.
